The Northern Athletics Conference has recognized 81 Milwaukee School of Engineering student-athletes as NAC Scholar-Athletes for the 2011-12 academic year, including:
- Andrew Kosasih of New Berlin, a Mechanical Engineering major, who participated in Men's Tennis for MSOE during the 2011-12 season.
- Karina Weideman of Waukesha, a Nursing major, who participated in Women's Soccer for MSOE during the 2011-12 season.
Student-athletes competing in the NAC must maintain a grade point average of 3.25 or higher for the current academic year to be eligible for the honor. Each academic year stands by itself for determination of this award. A total of 1,151 full-time student-athletes from all 13 member institutions and three associate-member institutions were NAC Scholar-Athletes for the 2011-12 academic year.
MSOE is an independent, non-profit university with 2,500 students.
