Obituary: Betty J. Templeton (nee Boettcher)

Betty J. Templeton (nee Boettcher), of Waukesha, passed away peacefully, with her daughter by her side, at Merrill Hills Manor on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at the age of 89 years.

Betty was born in Waukesha on August 9, 1923, the daughter of Fred and Edith (nee Franz) Boettcher. She married Harry Templeton on April 14, 1946. Betty was a very patriotic woman. She worked for many years at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed the Packers, golfing, and listening to music. More than anything, Betty loved to spend time with her family during the holidays and various family functions.

Betty will be dearly missed by her daughter, Lynn Wilber of Waukesha; her grandchildren,  Michael Wilber, Jason Wilber, Kelly (Brian) Toedtli, and Lindsey Keith; her great-grandchildren, Ryan, Josh, Montana, Devon, Evelynne and Rieley; her brothers, Robert (Lois) Boettcher and Jerry (Julie) Boettcher; her sisters-in-law; Gretchen Boettcher and Barb Boettcher. She is further survived by many other family and friends. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Harry; her daughter, Lori; and her son, Richard; parents; 1 sister and 4 brothers.

The visitation for Betty was held Saturday the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The burial of cremains will immediately follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, P.O. Box 684415, Chicago, IL, 60695.
