Obituary: James F. Southard

James F. Southard, of Brookfield, died on Monday, Aug, 27, 2012 at his home at the age of 74.

He was born in Waukesha on Jan. 6, 1938, the son of David and Genevieve (nee Eckrich) Southard. He graduated from the St. Francis Seminary in 1955 and then served his country in the U.S. Navy until 1960.  He worked for AT&T for over 35 years retiring in 1992 as a District Supervisor.  

He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters: Patricia Wulf of West Allis, Joanne (Doyle) Marx of Crivitz, Sharon (Kenneth) Milbauch of Shiocton, Michael Southard of Waukesha, Elaine Fitzpatrick of West Allis and Stephen Southard of Waukesha.  He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Donna Kowalski, and his brother David Southard Jr.

Visitation were held Friday at Randle-Dable-Brisk Funeral Home, 1110 S. Grand Ave., Waukesha. Entombment followed at St. Joseph Cemetery.
