Flagler College senior Meghan McNulty of Waukesha, WI was recently presented with a Distinguished Student Award in Spanish.
The awards are given to students who, in the judgment of faculty, best represent their major or minor in terms of academics, citizenship, service and the spirit of the discipline.
"These individuals represent some of the very best that Flagler College has to offer," said Dean of Academic Affairs Alan Woolfolk. "They exemplify the excellence that should be and is the heart and soul of higher education."

Flagler College is an independent, four-year, comprehensive baccalaureate college located in St. Augustine, Fla. The college offers 24 majors, 29 minors and two pre-professional programs, the largest majors being business, education and communication. Small by intent, Flagler College has an enrollment of about 2,500 students, as well as a satellite campus at Tallahassee Community College in Tallahassee, Fla.
