Anti-Chipmunk Device Concerns Waukesha Woman

WAUKESHA, WI—A woman called Waukesha Police on Saturday regarding suspicious activity in the 1800 block of Woodburn Road.

There was a light in her yard that kept changing colors. She told police she has no solar lights in her yard and wanted an officer to check it out, according to a police report.

"The mystery of the unidentified lighting phenomenon was solved and identified as an anti-chipmunk sonar like device installed by the neighbor. Caller did not need any further assistance," the report said.
