Blizzard Brawl was a Blast!

Great Lakes Championship Wrestling's Blizzard Brawl was another fantastic event featuring meet-and-greets and great matches.

Saturday, I was joined by my pal Tony Feddeler "On the Beat" for Great Lakes Championship Wrestling's Blizzard Brawl. As always, Blizzard Brawl was a full night of great wrestling fun, including meet-and-greets and many great matches.

Wanting to not miss a minute, armed with our VIP tickets, Tony and I arrived early as always. The doors opened a bit after 4 pm and we were among the first inside the Waukesha County Expo Center.

Figuring he would have a huge line, we immediately went to see Dustin Rhodes. We actually ran into "The Natural" on the way to his area and chatted with him along the way. Dustin looked great.

Next we found Maria Kanellis-Bennett and had a fun chat with her about her Women's Wrestling Army promotion based in Chicago. WWA has put on great shows and has a bright future.

We caught up Al Snow and his wife Jessica. Over many years of seeing them (okay, maybe bugging them), we have become friends and I think they are awesome people.

We also saw "The Mouth of the South" Jimmy Hart, D-Lo Brown, Candice Michelle, Angelina Love ODB, Linda Kay and many more (see more in match listings below).

By then it was time for the matches. This was a fantastic card, featuring three championship matches.

I also saw #Superfriend David Herro. It all starts with David, although he is quickly becoming known more as "Kal's dad," as the younger Herro quickly carves his own path in wrestling at OVW.

Blizzard Brawl is a "must see" for me every year. I am already looking forward to Blizzard Brawl 2023, which was just announced for Saturday, December 2. It's the first thing circled on my 2023 calendar.

Thank you to David for putting on a great show. Thanks to all the talent, whether wrestling or greeting. What a great night!
