Body Found In Lower Nashotah Lake: Report

A dive team recovered a body after finding an empty boat in Lower Nashota Lake.

WAUKESHA — A dive team recovered a body from Lower Nashotah Lake in Waukesha County Wednesday.

First responders found an empty boat anchored and floating in the lake, Western Lakes Fire Department Chief Bradley Bowen told WISN.

Investigators also found a car parked near the boat launch, WISN reported.

The body was taken to the Waukesha County Medical Examiner’s Office after it was pulled from the water, WISN reported.

The Summit Police Department, the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Natural Resources assisted.
