Fundraiser Set For 3 Dance Groups Hurt In Waukesha Parade
Proceeds will go to Waukesha South High School Band, Waukesha Xtreme Dance Team and Milwaukee Dancing Grannies.

WAUKESHA, WI — Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market will hold a Brat Fry Fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at its three Waukesha-area stores.
All proceeds will go to the following three groups affected by the Waukesha Christmas parade incident on Nov. 21 in which six people died and more than 60 people were injured, according to a news release.
- Waukesha South High School Band.
- Waukesha Xtreme Dance Team.
- Milwaukee Dancing Grannies.
Of the six people who died, three were members of the Dancing Grannies: the group's choreographer, Virginia Sorenson, 79; Leanna Owen, 71; and Tamara Durand, 52. Durand was performing for the first time with the group. Another victim, Wilhelm Hospel, 81, was helping the Dancing Grannies.

With a $4 cash donation, people will receive a Klement’s bratwurst in a Bimbo Bakeries USA bun, a bag of Frito Lay chips and a Coke product.
Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market will provide matching donations up to $5,000. Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market will donate $20,000 to the United for Waukesha Community Fund, the retailers said.
