Bublr Bikes Giving Free 30-Minute Rides To Encourage Voting

There are 84 stations and over 700 bikes located around Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, and West Allis.

WAUKESHA, WI—With 84 stations and over 700 bikes located around Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, and West Allis, Bublr Bikes is offering anyone free, convenient 30-minute rides to encourage voting.

“Bublr is a big believer in civic participation and engagement,” said James Davies, Bublr’s Executive Director in a news release. “We believe that it’s important for us to do what we can to help lower barriers to voting.”

No code is needed to enjoy a free 30-minute ride on Election day. A free ride ends when the Bublr is returned to a Bublr Bikes station. Individual rides over 30 minutes will cost $3 for each additional 30 minutes.

While users won’t be charged Tuesday for rides 30 minutes and under; a credit or debit card is required to check out a Bublr Bike and a $10 hold is placed the first time you check out a bike.

Voters can find their voting location at myvote.wi.gov and a map of Bublr Stations and polling locations at bit.ly/BikeTheVote.

Bublr also offered free rides during the April 5th, Election Day.
