Burglary In Progress Reported In Waukesha

WAUKESHA, WI— A burglary in progress was reported on Friday in the 300 block of Dodie Drive. Waukesha Police were told a male tried to break into a house.

The report said the male came up to the front door and opened the patio while the resident was in the kitchen making food. The male tried to open the interior door, which was locked. After the resident lifted the shades to the door, the male immediately left. The male was not located in the area but extra checks were requested by the resident.

The suspect was described as a early teens, blonde hair, scar on upper lip, according to the police report. There was no forced entry and the report said it was unknown if the male was trying to get into a wrong house.
