Chef Tests Positive For COVID-19; Waukesha Restaurant Shuts Down

The owners of Casa Tequila in Waukesha say they're shutting down for the next few weeks after a chef tested positive COVID-19.

WAUKESHA, WI — The owners of a popular Waukesha watering hole have decided to shut their restaurant down for at least the next few weeks after a chef tested positive for COVID-19.

According to the owners of Casa Tequila, 2423 Kossow Road, one of the restaurant's chefs has been confirmed with COVID-19. Restaurant ownership made the decision to shut down the restaurant as a precaution.

"We regret to inform you that one of our chefs at Casa Tequila Waukesha has been diagnosed with COVID-19," ownership said in a statement this week. "As a precautionary measure and in consideration for the health and well-being of our associates and patrons, we have decided to close our Waukesha location for a few weeks."
