Construction Equipment Damaged Overnight, Waukesha Police Say
Police said the damage was estimated to be $4,000.

WAUKESHA, WI — A piece of construction equipment was damaged overnight, and police are investigating to figure out who smashed out the windows of the vehicle.
According to Waukesha police, officers were sent to a construction site behind the Meijer at 801 E. Sunset Drive just after 8 a.m. on May 20 on a criminal damage to property complaint.
An employee from R and W Trucking said four windows from his Caterpillar 953C crawler loader were broken sometime overnight, according to police call logs.

When an officer investigated, they reported seeing the four smashed-out windows, and found footprints in nearby mud. Police said the damage was estimated to be $4,000. No suspect information was available, according to police.
