Couple Sought After Police Chase In Waukesha

WAUKESHA, WI—Waukesha Police responded to the Ingleside Hotel,2810 Golf Rd. for suspicious activity in the parking lot early Friday morning. A male and female ran from officers and the male tried to jump into the car. He was tasered twice but it didn't stop him. The man drove onto I-94, WKPD, State Patrol, and Brookfield Police were involved in the pursuit, according to Waukesha Police Lt. Kevin Rice.

The chase was terminated near 84th Street. The car, which was stolen, was later located in Milwaukee. Police are still looking for the couple who ran away from the office.

The male was identified and has several warrants for his arrest, Rice said.
