This is where it all started, where the first "Dirty Girls" from Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, Madison, and Chicago were crowned. Those women who braved the 5 kilometer Milwaukee, WI mud run and obstacle course in 2010 made mud run history and started the all-women’s' mud run revolution. Even in that first year, we had an overwhelming number of girls who put on their game face to leave their mark in the virgin mud course constructed largely from hay bales, 2x4's, and mother earth. The positive feedback from the original Dirty Girls gushed, and it was clear that you could not get enough...you wanted more........and we have responded.
Fast forward to today and you will discover that The Dirty Girl Mud Run series is the premiere women's mud run event, with more fun, more obstacles, more girl power, more creativity, more high fives, more excitement and of course more mud than any copycat mud run can muster. Additionally, Dirty Girl Mud Run continues to support Breast Cancer awareness and research, and has been donating more monetary support to this worthy cause every year, thanks to your participation.
