Editor's Pick: Top Videos From 2012
From videos of the mayor dancing to orchestra students performing a flash mob, here are the Waukesha Patch editor's picks from 2012.
This year's been full of memorable moments, and some of them were caught on video.
As an editor of Patch, I have a few favorite videos from the past year. Without further ado, here's my top picks from 2012.
- World War II veterans welcomed home after Honor Flight: I always love these moments at the airport when dozens of veterans get a homecoming to remember. One of the veterans featured in this video made it only a few weeks before he died and the family asked to play the clip at the funeral. Even if it's a small part, this video is a chance to show how much we appreciate the Greatest Generation.
- Mayor shakes his hips during Harlem Ambassadors charity game: It's not just the dance moves from Mayor Jeff Scrima. Former Mayor Carol Lombardi, Police Chief Russell Jack and other community members shake it during the fundriaser for Project Graduation.
- Orchestra flash mob at Freeman Friday Night Live: These high school students showcased their musical talents in a fun, surprising way in downtown Waukesha.
- North grads wow the crowd Gangnam Style: With Gangnam Style sweeping the nation, these Waukesha North High School graduates did with a little extra sparkle.
- Patch searches for an undecided voter: Where you find the undecided voter? Hither tither and yon!
