Election Day In Waukesha: When, Where To Vote

Everything you need to know about voting in Waukesha for the election Nov. 3.

WAUKESHA, WI—Voters in Wisconsin will be headed to the polls Tuesday, Nov. 3, for the 2020 general election.

In addition to the presidential and congressional races, there are several key races at the state and local level. Voting will be different this year thanks to rules approved to expand early and mail-in voting in light of the coronavirus pandemic.

Go to My Vote WI: myvote.wi.gov to check the status of your voter registration and look at who is on your ballot. Make sure you know the acceptable forms of identification required in Wisconsin.

How Can I Vote?

In Waukesha, absentee ballots may be returned In the 24/7 secure drop box located outside the lower level of City Hall (prior to Election Day). Mailing a ballot is not recommended at this point.

If you still have your ballot on Election Day, it may be returned in person to your polling location by 8 p.m., unless you live in a municipality that uses a central count facility for absentee ballots. In that case, the ballots will have instructions for voters on where they can be dropped off or they can contact their municipal clerk for that information.

People can still vote in-person if they choose not to use their absentee ballots.
