Literacy Council of Greater Waukesha Board of Directors Orientation

has scheduled an orientation for people interested in serving on its Board of Directors or committees at 7 p.m.  Thursday, Dec. 1.

LCGW provides one-on-one tutoring to individuals who need to improve their basic skills including reading, writing, spelling, math and English as a second language. Since 1986, LCGW has been recognized as the primary literacy resource in Waukesha County.

The orientation will take place at the community room at the Waukesha Public Library at 321 Wisconsin Ave. and will provide background information on LCGW and expectations of Board Members. For further information, please call the LCGW office at 262-547-7323.
