Explore Waukesha's Hidden Gems During Unlocked Event

WAUKESHA, WI — Waukesha will host tours and a behind-the-scenes look at its hidden gems during Waukesha Unlocked, an event that is part of the city's yearlong 125th anniversary celebration.

Waukesha Unlocked takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Waukesha City Hall, 201 Delafield St., and elsewhere in the city, organizers announced.

More than 60 businesses and organizations will open their doors and provide access, opportunities and information.

“We are looking forward to bringing people together, offering access to Waukesha’s hidden gems, providing unique experiences and celebrating our community,” Waukesha Mayor Shawn Reilly said in a statement.

  • The Andrew Frame house.
  • Carroll University.
  • Waukesha Masonic Lodge.
  • Aries Industries Inc.
  • Innio Waukesha Gas Engines.

Participants can also enjoy outdoor activities at the Frame Park Trail and the new Buchner Street Curling Rink.

Participants who cannot attend in person can watch a virtual tour of Eaton Corp. and Metal Tek International.

City Hall will be open for tours on Saturday, and staff will be on hand with 125th anniversary giveaways and to answer any questions during the event, organizers said.

Waukesha Metro buses will be free all weekend, and there will be free parking at the Transit Center, 212 E. Saint Paul Ave.
