Fight At Waukesha Springs Park Ends In Arrests: Reports

Several people were arrested Tuesday night after a fight broke out at Waukesha Springs Park, according to reports and police logs.

WAUKESHA, WI — A fight involving several juveniles broke out at Waukesha's Springs Park Tuesday evening and ended with several arrests, according to police logs and media reports.

Police told TMJ4 News that nine people were arrested after two fights broke out, including three adults for child abuse.

Officers were called out around 7:15 p.m. for a teen who said she was beaten up and had her phone stolen near Springs Park, police logs said. The caller told police there was a group of girls who stole their cell phones and left after a fight, logs said.

After police were called out to the 500 block of Main Street, a fight started back up, and at one point, logs said one of the groups had a Taser. The scene was stabilized by 8:45 p.m., logs said.

Police said at one point an officer was gathering information from two possible victims when people got out of a passing van and attacked a 17-year-old, requiring the officer to call back-up, according to a report by CBS 58.
