Firehouse Subs Opens New Location In Waukesha
A new Firehouse Subs opened in Waukesha as part of the Goerke's Corner redevelopment, the shop's owners announced Wednesday.

WAUKESHA, WI — A new specialty sub sandwich shop with a mission of giving back to first responders is now open on Moreland Boulevard in Waukesha, the company announced Wednesday.
The new Firehouse Subs location at 21481 East Moreland Blvd is part of the Goerke's Corner redevelopment, a news release from the chain said. The spot offers hot subs that are stacked with meat and cheese then served "fully involved" with toppings. Firehouse Subs said the spot also offers catering, salads, snacks and desserts.
Eric Erwin owns the location alongside Scott Anthony and former Green Bay Packers player Don Davey.

“It was my vision to bring Firehouse Subs to the great state of Wisconsin in 2013,” said Davey in a news release. “Since then, we have committed ourselves to further expand this one-of-a-kind restaurant brand in Waukesha County and bring our philanthropic commitment and hearty subs to even more members of the community.”
The new location features a mural by Joe Puskas, who has painted over 1200 murals from his studio at Firehouse Subs Headquarters in Florida, the company said. The mural depicts Erwin and his wife Bobbie blocking Bucky Badger's opponents during a game of football.

“Every time we open another Firehouse Subs, it allows us to raise more funds for local first responder heroes,” said Erwin. “This is made possible through the portion of every purchase program that benefits Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation - the heart and soul of our brand.”
The Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation has granted over $400,000 to agencies around the greater Milwaukee area, including the City of Waukesha Police Department, according to the news release.
The new location is open daily 10:30 a.m.-9 p.m.
