Former Mad Steintist To Be Replaced With Maddy's Bar And Music Lounge
A new bar and music lounge announced plans to move into the space formerly inhabited by Mad Steintist in Waukesha.

WAUKESHA, WI — A new bar and music venue announced plans recently to fill in the space left by the closing of Mad Steintist in June.
It will be called Maddy's Bar and Music Lounge, owners announced via social media. Patrons of the soon-to-be venue can expect live music and performers plus specialty cocktails and small plates, according to the bar's Facebook post.
The bar said it plans to open after Oct. 21, when nearby road construction is expected to wrap up. The spot is located at 200 Madison Street in Waukesha.

"We are so excited to re-open this space and create a venue for the community to come together," the Facebook post said.
Mad Steintist held its last show in June. Driving its closure was the nearby construction and the COVID-19 pandemic, owners said in Facebook post at the time. In the past, the location has been home to Lucky Rabbit, Louis Yanke Saloon and Full Moon.
