WAUKESHA, WI — Halloween is right around the corner and soon neighborhood streets across the region will be lined with ghosts and ghouls hunting for candy.

Whether you're expecting to be the chaperone for your group of little monsters or you're looking forward to handing out candy, you should know the different times that Waukesha-area communities plan to hold their trick-or-treat.

Many will have similar times while others will vary. Some communities and local blocks will also have their own trick-or-treat events around Halloween, so check with your neighbors if anything is going on.

    • Downtown trick-or-treat on Saturday from 1-3 p.m.
    • Citywide Monday from 5-7 p.m.

    • Monday 4-7 p.m.

    • Monday 5-7:30 p.m.
  • New Berlin
    • Sunday 4-7 p.m.
  • Pewaukee
    • Saturday 4-7 p.m.
