"I am very sad to say that yesterday one of our veteran employees was struck by a hit and run driver while on southbound CTH F/Redford Boulevard in the City of Pewaukee. Every day Waukesha County Department of Public Works highway workers and other staff face the risk of personal injury when they perform the vital work that provides residents with safe and efficient roadways. While we are very fortunate that our colleague's injuries are not life threatening, the driver who hit them fled the scene and we are asking for the public’s help to identify them," Farrow posted.

This incident remains under investigation and anyone with information can contact the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.
