Impaired Driver Hit Car Containing 2 Elderly People: Police

WAUKESHA, WI — A 43-year-old Waukesha man faces two impaired-driving related charges and multiple drug charges after a report of a crash during the afternoon of Feb. 27.

According to Waukesha police call logs, officers were called to an apartment on the 900 block of W. Sunset Drive on a report of a crash.

Police said the 43-year-old man got into a head-on collision with an elderly man and an elderly woman. Police said the man had been bleeding from his hand and the woman reported knee pain.

According to police, officers arrested the man on suspicious of driving while impaired. According to court documents, the man was charged with two counts of causing an injury while driving under the influence, possession of THC - second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia.
