Jackson Sparksβ Life Honored With New Bench In Mukwonago
Jackson Sparks' Waukesha Blazers number 23 was emblazoned on the bench, which was unveiled to family and friends and Field Park.

WAUKESHA, WI β The Mukwonago Lions Club paid tribute to Jackson Sparks' life by unveiling a bench memorializing him to family, friends and community members at Field Park.
Sparks, 8, was the youngest victim in the Waukesha parade tragedy that killed six people and injured dozens more.
Family, friends and teammates from the Waukesha Blazers watched the unveiling ceremony next to the baseball diamond on June 16, a lions club Facebook post showed.

The lions club funded and helped create the bench, which is emblazoned with Sparks' Blazers team number, The Waukesha Freeman reported.
The club learned of Sparks' love for baseball through Jerseys for Jackson and speaking with family members, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

The Waukesha are community commemorated the boy's life in other ways before: Community members have unveiled plans for a sports complex in his namesake, a bat company made a custom bat in Sparks' honor and the Jerseys for Jackson program generated thousands of shares on social media.
