Here's a run down of fireworks shows happening across Waukesha County for Independence Day 2022.

WAUKESHA COUNTY — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years.

July 4 is right around the corner, so we have all the fireworks shows happening in and around Waukesha County so you can start planning now.

Here's what's in store for the Waukesha area this July 4:

"Waukesha Strong" Parade

  • Near Wisconsin Ave. and Maple Ave. in downtown Waukesha
  • 11 a.m.

City of Waukesha Fireworks

  • Lowell Park, 2201 Michigan Ave.
  • 9:30 p.m.

New Berlin Fireworks

  • Malone Park.
  • 10 p.m. on July 4.

New Berlin Parade

  • The parade is on National Avenue, and starts at Coffee Road then proceeds west until Al Stigler Parkway.
  • The parade starts at 1 p.m. on July 4.

New Berlin 4th of July Festival

City Of Brookfield Parade And Fireworks

The city parade starts at near Gebhardt Road and Oak Grove Road around 9:30 a.m. and moves west to Norhardt Road and Civic Drive, the City of Brookfield said in a statement. The annual parade usually ends between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m

Family Fest kicks off at Mitchell Park at 6 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m., the city said. The event offers food and entertainment before the fireworks show.

Pewaukee Parade

  • 3 p.m.

Sussex Kiddie Parade

  • Main Street to Sussex Village Park
  • 9:30 a.m.

Sussex-Lisbon Fireworks

  • Sussex Village Park, W244 N6125 Weaver Drive
  • 9:20 p.m.
