Juveniles Removed From Waukesha Store Over Mask Policy

Two juveniles were yelling and swearing at a Woodman's Market manager regarding wearing masks.

WAUKESHA, WI—Waukesha Police were called to Woodman's Food Market Sunday to remove two people, according to the police log.

Two juveniles were behaving disorderly by yelling and swearing at the store manager about wearing masks, the log said. They were leaving as officers arrived and their mother was waiting for them in the parking lot, the log said.

The mother and Woodman's employees "had a difference in interpretation of the mask order," the log said.

According to a November update on Woodman's website, it states face covering is required.

"In compliance with current state orders, and for the safety of our team, vendors and guests, we ask all guests shopping at Woodman's wear a face covering that properly fits, snuggly covering both the mouth and nose. A face shield is required for those unable to wear a face covering. Guests not following these protocols will not be served. We offer online shopping for pick-up or delivery as an alternate shopping option."
