"With record-high unemployment claims and increased demand for critical and essential jobs, the virtual job and resource fair provides a safe way for job seekers and employers to connect online while practicing social distancing," Waukesha County officials said this week.
Businesses will be able to chat with job seekers via video and instant messaging, invite job seekers to apply for open positions, and increase their brand awareness. Other benefits include:
- A searchable job board and resume database.
- One-on-one and small group chat options
- Real-time interviews.
- Easy access via smart phone, tablet, or computer.
“We understand that there are many individuals and businesses impacted by this pandemic. We want to support them during this time and provide an opportunity to connect with in-demand employment opportunities and local resources,” said Laura Catherman, WOW Workforce Development Board Director.
