Mail Truck Lands On Side After Crash In Waukesha

WAUKESHA, WI — A mail truck landed on its side after a crash with another vehicle near West and College Avenues on Tuesday morning, according to police logs.

Police Captain Dan Baumann told The Waukesha Freeman the truck was clipped by an elderly driver who may have mistaken the gas pedal for the brakes, but nobody was seriously injured.

Neighbor Doug Neumann told CBS58 he spotted the crash and his immediate reaction was to jump on top and help the mail carrier.
