Man Blares Phone Alarm Tune To Annoy Waukesha Neighbors: Police

WAUKESHA,WI—Waukesha Police responded to several calls for service over the weekend. Here are a few highlights from the police log from Friday to Monday.
A wedding DJ called police on late Saturday night to report wedding guests not allowing him to pack up his equipment to leave. There was disagreement about the music that was being played at the wedding. When confronted, the DJ felt threatened and turned off the music. Guests told police there was no threats and the DJ was terrible all night.
A person reported several cars were doing burnouts in the 1200 block of West Sunset Drive on Sunday. A second caller said it happens three or four times a week and people race and rev their engines.

Police were called Monday morning regarding a noise complaint. A man was playing the Samsung phone alarm on repeat for 10 hours from YouTube to annoy his neighbors. He accomplished his goal, as it could be heard throughout the building. He was advised that although neighbors can be annoying, playing the alarm for 10 hours on repeat at an unreasonably loud level is not the best way to deal with the situation. The man was almost two hours into the noise at the time of police arrival.
A possible narcotics violation was called in on Sunday on Hartwell Avenue. The caller reported there are drugs in the pole and person was walking up to get drugs. No drugs were located in the light pole. Just a clear case with paper in it. It is believed that people are using the pole for geo cache.
