Man Led Police On High-Speed Chase Through Waukesha
According to Waukesha police, the driver led officers on a 14.4-mile chase which ended on the 5500 block of W. State Street

WAUKESHA, WI — A 25-year-old Milwaukee man has been arrested and charged after police say he led officers on a high-speed chase through Waukesha, ending when his car collided with a building on State Street.
According to Waukesha police call logs, an officer on patrol during the early-morning hours of May 10 tried to pull over the driver of a silver vehicle near the city limits and E. North Street.
Police said the officer initially pulled the driver, identified as Anthony C. Sartin, over on the side of the road. Police say Sartin sped away just as the officer ordered him out of his car during the course of the traffic stop.

According to Waukesha police, Sartin led officers on a 14.4-mile chase which ended on the 5500 block of W. State Street where he collided with a building.
Police say he reached 99 miles per hour as he sped through the city during the course of the chase.

Court records show that Sartin has been charged with fleeing an officer as a repeat offender. He's being held in the Waukesha County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond. He's due next in court on May 22 for his preliminary hearing.
