Man Lied To Police About 2 Women Robbing Him At Gunpoint: Report
Police said a man lied about being robbed by two women at gunpoint, and that his story began as he was trying to meet women online.

WAUKESHA, WI — A Waukesha man was arrested after police said he lied about being robbed at gunpoint by two women. When he was finally questioned, he admitted he was trying to meet two women he found online, and the meeting didn't go as planned.
According to Waukesha Police call logs, officers were sent to a home on the 1100 block of High Pointe Knoll Circle at just after 11 p.m. on Jan. 25 on a report of a robbery in progress.
Waukesha Police told Patch that the man claimed two women robbed him at gunpoint. The man told police two women came to his door, pulled a gun on him, took his cell phone, all while forcing their way into his home, according to call logs. He would also claim they ran away, but did not know which way the women ran off.

According to police call logs, officers searched the area after the man provided a detailed description for the two women who fled.
But the robbery never happened, police said.

Police said officers questioned him about the incident, and later admitted to lying, saying he was trying to meet people online. When he met with the women, and the meeting didn’t go as planned.
Police said the man was booked and released for obstructing an officer and for making a false police report.
