Men In Waukesha Hug It Out After Disorderly Conduct Call: Police

Waukesha Police were called on Tuesday after a man was punched on East Main Street.

WAUKESHA, WI—Waukesha Police were called on Tuesday for a report of a disorderly conduct on East Main Street. The caller said he was making a delivery to a grocery store and a man who was driving a dump truck punched him, according to Lt. Kevin Rice of the Waukesha Police Department.

Rice said it appeared to be a road rage type incident as both men were driving trucks for different reasons.

After discussion with both men and watching some video at the dock area of the store, both men agreed they were in the wrong and things got out of hand. Both were pointing their fingers at each other, the Waukesha Police log said.

Mediation took place between them and they apologized to one another, ending by shaking hands and giving each other a hug, the log said.

"It is a good outcome that they hugged as normally that is the last thing I would expect from two men fighting," Rice told Patch.
