Mom Says Teen Missing After Drive From Wauwatosa To Waukesha

The mother told Waukesha Police she thought her 15-year-old son was sleeping in the backseat of the car.

WAUKESHA, WI— A Wauwatosa woman called Waukesha Police on Wednesday after realizing her 15-year-old son was not in her car.

She was told to list him missing through the Wauwatosa Police Department. The woman claimed that she was unsure whether or not her son had been in her vehicle for the drive from Waukesha to Wauwatosa, according to a police report.

She told police she assumed her son had been asleep in the back seat but upon arrival noticed he wasn't there. Immediate and surrounding areas were searched by both officers and family. Police said the teen doesn't have a phone nor any money on him.

Wauwatosa or the Waukesha Police Department both said the teen wasn't reported missing.
