Motorcycle Rider In Gorilla Suit Accused Of Going 100 MPH: Police

A witness told police the motorcycle went over 100 miles per hour and was circling the area of Harding and Arcadian.

WAUKESHA, WI — Halloween came early for one Waukesha motorcycle rider, after an eyewitness called police to document the unusual sight.

According to Waukesha Police call logs, a witness called police at just after midnight on Oct. 26 after seeing a motorcycle driving recklessly in the area.

The witness told police the motorcycle went over 100 miles per hour and was circling the area of Harding and Arcadian, and to look for a man wearing a gorilla costume with a blue head, call logs stated.

According to police, an officer on patrol did, in fact, find a man in a gorilla suit riding the motorcycle. The costumed rider told police he was being chased by a person who was behind the wheel of a minivan, and that he was driving fast in order to avoid an altercation.

Police call logs stated that the officer did not witness any reckless driving on the part of the motorcycle rider, and he was sent on his way
