Motorcyclist Killed In Multicar Crash In Waukesha County

The crash happened at the intersection of Waterville Road and Highway D in the Town of Ottawa on Sunday.

WAUKESHA COUNTY, WI — A motorcyclist was killed in a multicar crash at the intersection of Waterville Road and Highway D in the Town of Ottawa around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.

A 29-year-old man died after he crashed his motorcycle into a motorhome driven by a 58-year-old man in the intersection, the department said. Neither man was identified.

A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of operating his motorcycle while intoxicated, the department said. He was not identified.

The two motorcyclists and a third biker were driving northbound on Waterville Road when the 29-year-old began speeding, the department said.

He entered the intersection at Highway D and collided with the motorhome, which was traveling westbound.

The crash remains under investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol.
