Muzzleloader Gun Explosion Injures 3 At Waukesha Co. Range: Sheriff
Authorites said a muzzleloader gun exploded at a range in Eagle on Wednesday, injuring three.
EAGLE, WI — Three people were injured by shrapnel when a 50-caliber muzzleloader gun exploded at an Eagle shooting range on Wednesday, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office.
The gun had accidentally been loaded twice before it was shot, according to the sheriff's office. It happened around 11:12 a.m. at the McMiller Sports Center.
A 36-year-old man suffered injuries to his hand and forearm and had to be brought to Froedtert Medical Center in Wauwatosa, the sheriff's office said. Two others had minor injuries.

The man's life injuries were not life-threatening, authorites said.
