National Beer Day 2022: Where To Grab A Brew In Waukesha
The day marks the end start of the end of Prohibition, making a perfect opportunity to grab a beer in and around Waukesha.
WAUKESHA, WI — Many breweries around Waukesha will be open to celebrate the end of Prohibition with one of the most popular alcoholic drinks on the planet: Beer.
National Beer Day, which is on Thursday this year, marks the anniversary of the Cullen-Harrison Act passed in March of 1933, which eased the restrictions of Prohibition. The 21st Amendment, passed on Dec. 5, 1933, repealed Prohibition altogether nine months later.
There's no better place to celebrate the day but in Wisconsin, where local beers like New Glarus and Leinenkugel's are distributed across the state. Milwaukee was dubbed one of the best cities for millennial dads for its concentration of microbreweries, according to a moveBuddha report.
