New Berlin Police Chase Ends In Crash In Waukesha

WAUKESHA, WI— A car being chased by police crashed in Waukesha Tuesday night, police said.

The chase started after a narcotics investigation in New Berlin.

The investigation was in the area of 124th Street and Greenfield Avenue in New Berlin. . A car fled after a traffic stop, leading to the chase.

The pursuit went into West Allis and returned to New Berlin.

Police said the driver of the car threw a handgun out of the car.

The pursuit ended in the City of Brookfield. The car later crashed in Waukesha and the driver fled, police said.
