Night Clerk Assaulted In Waukesha Burger King Robbery: Report
Waukesha police said a night clerk was struck in the head as he walked to his car with a bank deposit.

WAUKESHA, WI β Police in Waukesha are investigating a robbery at Burger King after a night clerk was attacked, authorities say.
According to Waukesha police call logs, police were called to the Burger King on 1800 Gateway Drive just after 11 p.m. on Dec. 1 on a report of a robbery.

According to police call logs, the night clerk who was assaulted ended up being the person who called police. The clerk told officers that he was leaving when someone hit him, grabbed the bag of money and left. The clerk reportedly suffered a medical emergency at the time of the altercation and was rushed to the hospital for medical care.
Police set up a perimeter in the area, analyzing fresh footprints, as well as deploying the department's K9 unit to track potential suspects.
