No Injuries In Cirrus Vision Jet Incident At Waukesha Airport: Sheriff

WAUKESHA, WI β€” A light jet airplane had an incident Wednesday morning at the Waukesha County Airport, but the two people onboard were uninjured, authorities said.

One passenger was on board the Cirrus Vision Jet besides the pilot, the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office said in a news release. Both occupants were able to get off the plane without help, the sheriff's office said.

According to a report by WLS-TV ABC7 Chicago, the plane made a hard landing before going off the runway.

Authorities have not yet clarified the exact nature of the incident.

The airport remains open as local and federal authorities investigate what caused the incident, the sheriff's office said.
