Plea Hearing Set in Child Porn Possession Case

Thomas Kopp faces four charges of possession pornography and one of not registering as a sex offender.

A plea hearing was set for May 20 in the case of a former Waukesha man charged with four counts of possessing child pornography.

Thomas Kopp, 25, was arrested last September at his mother’s Waukesha home after Waukesha Police Department officers executed a search warrant. According to a criminal complaint, Kopp admitted to using his mother’s laptop to view pornography.

Kopp appeared in court Monday before Judge William Domina. Online court records indicate that Kopp — whose official residence is now listed as Cudahy — is in counseling.
