Police Called To Waukesha Woodman's Over Toilet Paper Flap

Police said a man was cited for disorderly conduct after a Woodman's manager told him there was a limit on toilet paper.

WAUKESHA, WI — A limit toilet paper at Woodman's resulted in police being called over an unruly shopper in Waukesha.

According to Waukesha police call logs, officers were sent to the Woodman's just before 5 p.m. on March 22 on a report that a man was harassing store employees over the amount of toilet paper customers were allowed to purchase at once.

Police said they were met by a store manager at the front door. The manager told police that the suspect in question was walking with a second person. According to police, when the two men saw police, they started running through the store to avoid getting caught.

Police said officers eventually caught up with the two, and arrested a 20-year-old Milwaukee man. Police said he was cited for disorderly conduct after a Woodman's manager told the two there was a limit on toilet paper.

According to Waukesha police, a police dog was requested at the scene to conduct a search on the 20-year-old's car. Police reported nothing came of the search.
