Police Investigating Death Of Waukesha Woman: Report

WAUKESHA, WI — Authorities in Waukesha are trying to determine the cause of a woman's death after she was found in her apartment on New Year's Eve.

According to Waukesha Police call logs, officers were sent to an apartment on the 1200 block of S. Grand Ave. at just after 10 a.m. on Dec. 31 on a report of a deceased person.

When they arrived, officers reported finding a woman in her 50s deceased inside her apartment. Officers noted that she was cold to the touch and that her face was blue.

Waukesha police say they are working with the Waukesha County Medical Examiner's office to determine how the woman died, and are still investigating the case.
