Pumpkin Composting In Waukesha: What You Need To Know
Waukesha residents can take pumpkins to the Drop-Off Center in November.

WAUKESHA, WI—Trick-or-Treat is taking place in the City of Waukesha on from 5 p.m.to 7 p.m. Sunday.
After Halloween this year, don't throw away your pumpkins.
Instead, bring them to the Drop-Off Center, 750 Sentry Dr. for composting for free during the month of November, according to city staff.

A few guidelines:
- Pumpkins with paint on more than 25% of the pumpkin should not be included for composting.
- Pumpkins need to be free of added decorations.
- Gourds and other similar organic decorations will also be accepted.
The Drop-Off Center is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesdays.
