Kelly, the founder of The Kelly Johnson Foundation and host of the tournament, expresses her enthusiasm and gratitude for the event and its participants, stating, "As our tournament event director, I am excited to see the impact the Rose City Classic will have on our community. Beyond showcasing exceptional tennis talent, our primary goal is to give back and support local initiatives."

"This year's tournament promises to be bigger and better, with a lineup of more exciting matches, more competitive divisions, and opportunities for community members of all ages to get involved”, Kelly affirms, highlighting the enhancements in the second-year event.

The Kelly Johnson Foundation proudly drives positive change through its Pay It Forward Initiative, partnering with Second Serve 501(c)3 to donate new and gently used tennis gear to children in need at the Milwaukee Tennis & Education Foundation. Participants are encouraged to contribute items to the collection bin on-site, with a goal of gathering 30 items to kickstart the inaugural annual event.

Additionally, the Sustainability Initiative continues, wherein all tennis balls used during the tournament will be recycled with Recycleballs.
