‘Run With The Cops’ Returns To Waukesha

The 7.5 mile fundraiser kicks off August 20.

WAUKESHA, WI— “Run With The Cops,” an event that aims to unite police and residents and raise funds for the department, returns to Waukesha in August.

The event takes place August 20 at Veterans Park, at the corner of Wisconsin and West Avenues.

Registration on site starts at 6 p.m. and the 7.5 mile run and walk starts at 7:30 p.m.

The Waukesha Citizens Police Academy Association hosted the first event in 2014.

Kids 12 and under can run for free. Adults who sign up before August 2 are guaranteed a $10 Run With the cops shirt.

Registration is available on the Run With The Cops website.

Here are the prices for registering for those 13 and older:

June 2-Aug. 6: $30.
Aug. 7-13: $35, Run t-shirt not guaranteed
August 12-20: $40, Run t-shirt not guaranteed

Packets with a run number and t-shirt can be picked up at the Downtown Transit Center parking ramp, 212 E. St. Paul Avenue, on Wednesday Aug. 18 between 4-7 p.m.
