School District of Waukesha Announces Learning Options
For the 2021 - 2022 school year, the district will be offering the option to attend their face-to-face home school or enroll at eAchieve.
WAUKESHA, WI— During the pandemic the School District of Waukesha tried to demonstrate flexibility and provide families with multiple options for how children could access their learning.
In an effort to streamline resources as well as provide a more consistent experience for students and staff, for the 2021 - 2022 school year, the School District of Waukesha will be offering families the option to attend their face to face home school or enroll at eAchieve full time.
"Home School" is in reference to students' brick-and-mortar neighborhood school.

Students who choose to enroll at eAchieve will still be allowed to keep their primary home school listed as their attendance area school, so that students are still eligible to play sports and participate in other extracurricular activities.
Moving into next year, 6th-12th grade students will no longer have the option to select a virtual live-streaming experience. Additionally, 4k-5th grade students will no longer have the School District of Waukesha “SDW Virtual” option. All students and families who want a virtual experience for the 2021-2022 school year will have to enroll in the eAchieve academy.

The eAchieve Elementary and eAchieve Academy are fully virtual online charter schools, teaching 4K-12 students from across the state of Wisconsin. The instructional program is based on best practices in virtual learning. Staff works closely with the School District of Waukesha to provide the best possible online learning experience for all students.
The district is asking families to d0 one of the following by March 17th:
- Families who are choosing to remain at their school in a face to face setting do not need to do anything.
- Families who choose to enroll in eAchieve Academy should complete this form.
In the near future, the district will be discussing the COVID-19 mitigation plans for the upcoming school year.
