Several Animals Who Landed In Waukesha Available for Adoption
Over 100 dogs and cats from an overcrowded shelter in Texas landed at Waukesha County Airport/Crites Field on Tuesday.

WAUKESHA, WI—Several animals from an overcrowded Texas shelter are available for adoption, according to the Wisconsin Humane Society.
Over 100 dogs and cats from Texas landed at Waukesha County Airport/Crites Field on Tuesday.
The WHS counted 132 animals thanks to BISSELL Pet Foundation, which supported the flight to Wisconsin.
To see a listing of all available animals, visit the humane society website. The dogs and cats from this group will have an asterisk at the end of their name (i.e. King*).

"Again, we can’t thank our community enough for the incredible support that allows us to say yes when we’re asked to help animals in need," the humane society said.

The humane society is working with additional shelters throughout the state in order to support the massive transport.
