Sex Offender Released Back Into Waukesha

WAUKESHA, WI — A registered sex offender who was convicted of sexual assault of a child in 2012 is being released back into the public following his incarceration time, Waukesha police said this week.

According to the Waukesha police department, Jason Munoz was released on Tuesday.

According to police, Munoz was convicted in 2012 of two counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child and strangulation for having sexual intercourse with two 15-year-old girls at separate times. Authorities say he was 20 years old at the time of his arrest.

Police say Munoz is to have no unsupervised contact with minors, no taverns, bars or liquor stores, no contact with victims, and not to purchase or possess or consume alcohol or illegal drugs.

Police say Munoz is to comply with sex offender rules and will be on lifetime GPS monitoring.
